Beaches of the island Of Čiovo
Villa Vasilisa's beach
Beach in front of Villa Vasilisa is nice sand beach, remoted only two meters from the sea, long and ideal for bathing at any time of day. What is the most important, enterances are suitable for anyone, beach is clean, and apart from bathing it is ideal for night walks.
Okrug Beach
The longest beach on Čiovo is definitely the one in Okrug Gornji, near Villa Vasilisa, Milićevo. It is almost two kilometers long, and along it there are many bars and restaurants that separate it from other beaches on Čiovo. There are also enough sport and recreation contents, and because of its popularity with home and foreing guests it is called Copacabana.
Slatine
One more popular beach on Čiovo is the beach in Slatine. It is true that it is remoted from Villa Vasilisa for half of the island, but if you use a car or a motorbike across place called Žedno, you can be in Slatine in ten minutes. Beach that expects you there is long and it also has bars and restaurants. And if you wish to escape every touch to civilization, you can keep going till the end of the island to a popular 'Kava'.
Okrug Gornji, Kava
Kava – Okrug Gornji: is one more beach, on the side where Villa Vasilisa is placed, and whose protection mark is Kava (coffee). This beach is really popular with children because of calm sea. At the enterance there is a big parking place that you don't have to pay, and if you are lucky in early morning hours you can occupy one of smaller sand beaches ideal for couples and families, situated among limestones that will give you privacy.
Okrug Gornji, Bok and Bušinici
Bok and Bušinici are two recogniable, nicely arranged beaches in Okrug Gornji. Part of the beach is cemmented, and the other parts are covered in sand. This part of Čiovo is characteristic for clean sea in that part of the island and from Villa Vasilisa it is only few minutes of ride.
Marinova Draga, Trogir
Marinova Draga is a small beach suitable for families with children because the sea is shallow. It is situated on the border of Trogir and Okrug Gornji and from Villa Vasilisa you can even walk to it.
Beach Duga and Široka, Okrug Gornji
Lately, these two beaches enjoy more and more popularity of home and foreign tourists, firstly because of cleanness, but because of the peace that the atmosphere in which you even can't hear the car gives you...
