Position and cliamate

Croatia streches from the foot of the Julian Alps in the north-west to the Pannonian plain in the east, across Dinarides in the central part to Adriatic coast in the south. Northen Croatia has continental climate, Central Croatia has semi-mountain and mountain climate.
Winter temperature goes from 0 up to 2 degrees in the continental zone, from -5 to 0 degrees in mountain area and from 6 to 11 degrees on the coast.
Summer temperatures are from 19 to 23 degrees in the continental zone, from 15 to 20 degrees in mountain region and from 21 to27 degrees on the coast.
